If you have read my last post, you'll know that I was never into makeup and the first makeup workshop was the only one that woke up the kikay in me. I never liked putting on makeup unless we have an event to go to, like a wedding or a birthday party. But other than that, I don't wear makeup at all.
So for those of you who are saying:
Hindi naman ako mahilig sa makeup. Sayang lang.
I like to go about my day without makeup, it looks more natural.
Here's what I can tell you, which by the way I learned from the workshop:
- Even if you are not into makeup, there are bound to be some meetings or events that will require you to attend made up.
- To look natural, minimal makeup is needed.
- You can wear make up and not look overly made up.
- You have to be presentable everyday, you never know what will happen or who you'll meet.
Enough of my ever famous "sermon". I'm here to tell you about what happened during that one fun day when we conducted Vicel's Makeup Workshop 02.
The first workshop was held in Vicel's Dad's office in Mother Ignacia, The place was a bit small and could not accommodate more than 10 students. So this time, she decided to rent a venue for the event and hit the jackpot! Look at how amazing the place is. It's perfect for a makeup workshop.

So there, we arrived at the venue about 15-20 minutes late and Vicel and her cousin Kelly are already setting up the place. After a brief catching up (I don't even know why we had to catch up when we are talking practically everyday. Haha!), we proceeded in setting up the buffet sweets that we will serve to the students. If you want to order or have free samples arranged, please like Paulette's Choclettes on Facebook! :)

The start of the workshop is pretty much the same. When the students have arrived, Vicel proceeded in introducing herself and sharing what she knows about makeup. What I can say about Vicel, which I like very much by the way, is that she is not the type of makeup artist that act as though she is an expert. She does not claim to be one and most of all, she does not make her students do it the way she does it. She sets some examples and then shows the students what it will look like in different applications.
Here are some photos while she was teaching:

After she was done discussing the basics of makeup and entertaining some questions of the students, she let them do their own makeup. They can use all the makeup she brought. She and Lot, her guest makeup artist helped the students with their makeup application.
